When not overseeing housing operations or conduct processes as the Senior Associate Director of Community Standards and Operations at Lake Forest College, Stacy Oliver-Sikorski is busy being an accomplished writer and independent editor. Stacy has published more than a dozen articles in the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International magazine, the Talking Stick and was a recent recipient of the association's annual article of the year award for her collaborative piece on gender inclusive housing. She has authored countless blog posts, on her website and for others, including The Student Affairs Collective, ACUHO-I, and The Placement Exchange.
Stacy has presented at professional conferences on a variety of topics, including the psychological benefits of being a realist in the field, creating a centralized process for medical and psychological accommodations, and infusing social justice into housing operations.
A graduate from Ohio University, Stacy earned a bachelor's of science in news writing and editing and a master's of education in college student personnel. She is thrilled to be able to combine her love of writing and editing with her passion for higher education.
